HGV Class 2 Driver - Hemel Hempstead, HertfordshireFM Conway is seeking a skilledHGV Class 2 Driverto join our dedicated Water and Drainage Management team. In this vital role, youll help protecting protect communities and keeping essential infrastructure running smoothly. Working as part of a two-person crew, youll be at the front line ofdrainage operations,fromdrain cleaning and clearancetorepair and maintenance work.Using specialised vehicles and equipment, you'll help ensure that water flows freely through drainage systems, helping to prevent flooding, minimise disruption, and support a healthier environment. This is a full time, permanent role based in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire.The duties of the HGV Class 2 Driver role will include:-Carrying out a wide range ofdrainage services, includinghigh-pressure water jetting(HPWJ)to inspect, clean, and maintain drainage networks.-Responding promptly todrainage issues and emergency callouts, tackling blockages, overflows, and other urgent problems to keep water flowing safely and efficiently.-Supporting planned and reactive maintenance byclearing, cleaning, and repairing drainage systemsas part of routine operations or urgent interventions.-Accuratelyrecording and reporting all work carried out, including identifying and flagging any additional issues that require follow-up.-Using ourapp-based reporting systemto update job progress, upload photos/videos, and ensure clear communication with the wider team.What skills and experience do you need?Were looking for reliable, committed individuals who hold aClass 2 licenceand avalid Driver CPC.Youll enjoy working as part of a team and demonstrate a strong commitment tohealth and safety.Whileprevious experience in the drainage industryis preferred, its not essential -full training can be providedfor the right candidate.What benefits will you receive?As ourHGV Class 2 Driver,we will offer you a range of fantastic benefits including career and professional development, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, company pension, life assurance, opportunities for internal and external training and access to a wide range of shopping discounts through our Rewarding Great People platform.
