Accountant Duties what You’ll Be Doing: Preparing and reviewing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies Handling VAT returns, corporation tax computations, and HMRC submissions Managing payroll and associated reporting Offering practical, strategic advice to clients Using Xero to keep accurate financial records Liaising with HMRC and Companies House Keeping up to date with tax legislation and compliance What we’re looking for in our Accountant role: ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or qualified by experience) 3 years’ accounting experience (either in practice or industry) Xero experience or certification is ideal Strong understanding of UK tax and accounting principles Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Someone proactive, curious, and always ready to help What’s on Offer: Competitive salary up to £42,000 (pro rata for part-time) Flexible hours – full-time or part-time considered Friendly and supportive team culture A varied client base and plenty of professional development opportunities Lovely location in Bidford-on-Avon with hybrid working potential This is a fantastic opportunity for an accountant who wants to feel valued, be part of a growing firm, and actually enjoy coming to work (radical idea, we know).
