If so, this newly created Senior Merchandiser role could be your perfect next challenge… About the role: Reporting to the Merchandising Manager, the role will support in leading the divisions’ merchandising team to increase commercial opportunities through the effective management of inventory, maximising sales and profits, whilst minimising stock and costs. Based in Avonmouth on a hybrid working basis – 2/3 days per week. Compensation – competitive salary, bonus scheme, pension, 4 x life assurance, healthcare, 25 days leave annually (including Christmas shutdown) What you will be doing: Manage intake flow into business to hit monthly forecasts, drive sales and minimise risks Management of range plans and critical paths Work with the MA’s to control inventory levels, allocations, and replenishment to ships Maintain Weekly Stock Sales and Intake forecasts (WSSI) Work with the Buying team to deliver new ship set-ups, providing analysis and creating OTBs Partner with the Buying team to create seasonal strategies for your department relating to all KPI’s Identify and produce seasonal markdown. Review and manage the process to ensure effective implementation on the ships Provide weekly summary of KPIs relating to sales, stock, profit, and markdown versus budget Work alongside the Buying team to plan and implement promotional activity About you: Experience in retail merchandising preferably within an own brand / private label environment Advanced planning and analytical skills, including Excel and ERP systems Flexible approach to work, adapting quickly and effectively to unexpected changes Good judgement and decision-making skills, confident in suggesting calculated risks Strong customer awareness and understanding Passionate about product, strong market and brand awareness Exceptionally organised, methodical, and efficient, to meet stringent deadlines Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK Key Attributes – trust, collaboration, respect, passion, drive, resilience About us: Harding is leading the way in innovative onboard cruise retailing, working closely with our cruise line partners and brand partners to ‘make every cruise better’.
