Location: London Rate: £500–£550 per day (Inside IR35) Sector: IT Contract Length: 12 months Overview Our client, a well-established software development company, is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract. This is a hybrid role, primarily remote, with occasional onsite collaboration in Canary Wharf, London. The successful candidate will play a key role in building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, ensuring platform security, and supporting governance processes within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud platforms in Microsoft Azure Manage, configure, and optimize Linux-based virtual machines (VMs) Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Bicep Embed robust security practices into all aspects of the platform Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation to support ongoing operations Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with client governance frameworks Support continuous improvement initiatives across DevOps processes and toolingRequired Experience Proven track record in Azure cloud engineering and DevOps practices Strong background in Linux VM administration and automation Hands-on experience with Terraform for IaC development and deployment Familiarity with embedding security controls within cloud environments Ability to produce high-quality documentation and support governance standardsTechnical Skills Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Bicep Containerisation: Kubernetes, Docker CI/CD Pipelines: GitLab CI, Jenkins Scripting & Automation: Python, PowerShellIf your looking for a new challenge and this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
