Job Title: 1:1 Tutor – English, Science & Maths (Kettering Area) Location: Kettering and surrounding areas – sessions delivered in students’ homes or local libraries Hours: Part-time / Flexible Pay: Competitive hourly rate, paid weekly via PAYE About the Role: TP Tutors is seeking passionate and dedicated educators in the Kettering area to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition in English, Science and Maths. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students who may be working outside of mainstream school settings, helping them build confidence, improve engagement, and achieve their academic goals. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging 1:1 sessions in English, Science and Maths. Support students with SEND, SEMH, and additional learning needs using a tailored, child-centred approach. Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain focus and motivation. Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Requirements: Teaching qualification preferred (QTS or equivalent). Strong subject knowledge in English, Science and Maths. Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with additional needs. Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one – support provided).
