Job Description
Electrical Bias Multi Skilled Engineer
Salary: 53,625 + Excellent Benefits Package
Shift Pattern: Early/Back Rotational (Average 34.75 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on a range of automated equipment and systems
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in a timely manner to minimise downtime
* Complete planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks in line with schedules
* Support installation and commissioning of new machinery or upgrades
* Work collaboratively with the wider engineering team to identify and implement process improvements
* Ensure all work complies with site safety standards and regulatory requirements
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
What We're Looking For:
* Time-served engineer with a strong electrical bias and multi-skilled capability
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, ONC/HNC, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering)
* Solid understanding of PLCs, automation systems, and control panels
* Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams
* Proven experience in a fast-paced, industrial environment
* Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Proactive attitude and commitment to high standards of work and safety
Shift Pattern:
Early Shift:
* Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
* Friday: 6:00am - 4:00pm
Back Shift:
* Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
* Friday: OFF
