We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network Engineer to join our clients team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting‑edge technologies in a dynamic environment focused on innovation, security, and large scale network infrastructure.
Location: Guildford
Working set up: 4 days on site per week
Role type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing, building, and supporting both production LAN environments and global WAN architectures
* Translate bespoke application requirements into effective firewall rules and security policies
* Labbing, prototyping (POCs), and experimenting with new technologies
* Proven experience in implementation and support of:
* Network routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
* Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and network security infrastructure (e.g. IKEv2, Next‑Generation Firewalls)
* Ability to create configuration documentation and implement solutions from high‑level and low‑level designs
* Experience with implementation and support of:
* High Assurance IP Encryptors (HAIPE)
* Infrastructure automation and orchestration tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform)
* Experience supporting and troubleshooting VMware NSX environments
* Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP or equivalent practical experience
