Project Manager – M&E, Engineering, Construction\n\nGloucester\n\nUp to £58,000 per annum\n\nPermanent Position\n\nOverview:\n\nWe are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of Mechanical Equipment. The role requires full lifecycle project ownership, from contract award to client handover, ensuring technical delivery, programme control, and client satisfaction. This is a senior role suited to a commercially aware individual with a background in building services, or mechanical project delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead the delivery of mechanical equipment from handover to completion.\n\nDefine and manage project scope, schedule, cost, risk, and resources.\n\nServe as primary client point of contact, coordinating with consultants and main contractors.\n\nChair internal and client facing project progress meetings.\n\nOversee technical submittals, design coordination, and procurement status.\n\nManage change control and variations.\n\nCollaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure deliverables.\n\nEnsure delivery of documentation, QA packs, and commissioning support as required.\n\nExperience and Skills Required:\n\nProven experience managing M&E or Engineering projects in construction/fabrication.\n\nSound understanding of building services systems, and fabrication workflows.\n\nExperience delivering projects for contractors or technical clients.\n\nCompetent in interpreting P&IDs, layout drawings, and specifications.\n\nAble to manage multiple disciplines and suppliers within tight timelines.\n\nStrong commercial awareness and contract administration experience.\n\nCertifications/Technical Knowledge:\n\nFamiliar with CDM Regulations and UK construction safety standards.\n\nSMSTS, CSCS or equivalent safety training preferred.\n\nUnderstanding of ISO 9001 quality systems and project QA/QC requirements.\n\nFor more information, please contact Rory McStay
