Are you an experienced Project Engineer with a strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as fabricating, machining, welding, etc.?
About you :
* Ideally a Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineer.
* A strong knowledge of CAD & FEA, and implementing DFM within a fabrication / machining manufacturing facility.
* Previous experience with driving projects.
* Project Management certifications / qualifications will be viewed favorably.
* A clear understanding of manufacturing techniques (rolling, bending, CNC machining, welding, punching, etc.), and when to apply them.
* Previous experience in project / product introduction, from concept through to production.
* A team player who enjoys the 'hands-on' approach.
What you will be doing :
* Oversee the introduction of projects / products from concept through to production.
* Undertake CAD design and FEA of complex structural sheet metal components.
* Develop project timelines, and ensure that projects are completed within the allocated timeframe.
* Play a role in the upkeep of engineering procedures, processes, and documentation.
* Apply DFM to project designs, and optimize accordingly.
* Carry out PPAP submissions.
* Other tasks as defined by business needs.
