Our client are looking for a Parts Advisor to join the group of body shops that have been repairing accident damaged cars for customers since 2000. OBJECTIVES & MEASURES
Maintain parts and paint stock and stock records
Process parts orders efficiently
Contribute to departmental compliance with company policies and industry guidelines

Maintain parts order system using reports to chase undelivered parts daily
Ensure that all parts to be ordered are authorised by estimator or line manager
Keep estimator informed of any supplementary parts ordered
Control the return of unused or over order parts maintaining the order system accurately
Participate in daily production meetings with reception and workshop control
Monitor due out jobs to insure availability of parts on refit
Ensure all paperwork, documentation and parts requisitions are completed accurately
Place special orders as necessary, balancing the needs of economy and speed of delivery according to line manager guidelines
Where possible confirm parts are correct on arrival to avoid unnecessary delays
You will maintain parts and paint stock and keep up to date records ensuring stock is kept securely, deliveries checked and stored correctly, yearly supplier re-views and making sure the department is clean and tidy and all Health and Safety, Company polices and procedures are adhered to at all times
