About the Role
Join a dedicated team keeping a local medical surgery clean, safe, and welcoming for patients and staff. You’ll be responsible for general and clinical cleaning duties, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Main Duties
* Clean and disinfect clinical and non-clinical areas (e.g., exam rooms, offices, restrooms)
* Vacuum, mop, and sweep floors
* Empty bins and handle waste correctly, including medical waste
* Refill hygiene supplies (soap, paper towels, etc.)
* Clean windows, mirrors, and surfaces
* Report maintenance issues promptly
* Follow infection control and safety standards
What You’ll Need
* Previous cleaning experience (healthcare setting preferred but not essential)
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
* Attention to detail and reliability
* Ability to work independently and responsibly
* Evening availability (16:00–21:00) and flexibility for extra shifts
