As a maintenance engineer your core role and responsibilities are:
Responsible for supporting all PPM and reactive maintenance across site : covering facilities, site services, building services, production
Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs
Instrumentation calibration
Use of Maximo CMMS systems
Dealing with instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, controls, BMS, power systems, PLCs
Working on boilers, chillers, reactors, pressure and telemetry systems, centrifuges, HVAC, gas systems
Knowledge, skills and experience required to be a maintenance engineer in the team:
Ideally be a multi:skilled maintenance engineer : instrumentation, electrical, mechanical
Previously have worked with facilities, site services and production equipment
Level 3 qualified or higher in engineering : ideally apprenticeship trained
Instrumentation calibration skills
Strong electrical and mechanical fault finding and diagnostics skills
Ideally have worked to ATEX, GMP standards
Good computer skills : use of CMMS systems
PLC : electrical fault finding advantageous
