Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an 11/33kV Project Manager based in Buckinghamshire with flexibility for partial remote work.
The Project Engineer will lead and manage HV construction projects involving 11kV and 33kV systems. Responsibilities include project planning, coordination with design and delivery teams, ensuring compliance with DNO/IDNO specifications, and effective communication with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. The engineer will oversee technical aspects of installations, manage project documentation, and ensure adherence to industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Strong Communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients
* Expertise in Project Management, including project scheduling, cost control, and risk assessment
* Proficiency in Project Engineering, with a focus on HV systems (11/33kV) and technical designs
* Senior Authorised Person 11/33kv UG
* DNO trained and authorisation previously held
* Commissioning of secondary switchgear
* DNO audit experience for NERS ICP works
* Experience in Project Planning, ensuring efficient resource allocation and milestone achievement
* Comprehensive knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles, especially in HV and renewables integration
* Familiarity with UK DNO/IDNO standards and regulations
* HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related field
* Relevant certifications, such as SMSTS or IOSH, are an advantage
* Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and willingness to travel to project sites as required
