Senior Land Referencer STAFFORD/ BIRMINGHAM / HYBRID

TML Recruitment are partnered with a leading UK wide property practice in their search for a candidate to join their land referencing team in the Infrastructure Services division. The division assists in delivering projects to build a more sustainable and long-lasting Infrastructure for the UK on behalf of clients across of a range of different sectors including electricity, gas, water, fibre optics, oil, and renewables. Collaborating with delivery and spatial data teams, the land referencing function plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and well-documented land referencing for statutory processes including DCOs, CPOs, and TWAOs.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Leading quality assurance of land ownership data input into proprietary databases
Developing and refining land referencing methodologies to support project enquiries
Managing field teams and logistical processes for on-site data collection
Interpreting and analyzing complex datasets related to land and property assets
Reviewing intricate title documentation and translating findings into BOR schedules
Coordinating closely with GIS and project delivery functions
Participating in project meetings with stakeholders
Providing progress updates and reporting to internal and external teams
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SELECTED?
Degree in geography, land surveying or similar discipline which relates to land.
Proven experience within land referencing working on major projects going towards DCO/CPO/TWAOs
Able to manage multiple projects and team members at once.
Strong communication skills and able to communicate with both internal clients and external clients and landowners
Full Driving license
People Management skills
Experience managing Mobile data collection tools
Knowledge of GIS systems and FME
