We are recruiting an exceptional Home Manager for a well-established, specialist mental health care home in Littlehampton. The Opportunity
This is a hands‑on leadership role for a Home Manager who is passionate about delivering outstanding mental health care alongside strong operational performance. You will be responsible for leading a safe, caring and well‑led service where residents feel genuinely supported and empowered.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering consistently high standards of care, quality and resident wellbeing
* Leading, developing and retaining a compassionate, skilled multidisciplinary team
* Building trusted relationships with residents, families and external professionals
* Managing occupancy and referrals while maintaining excellent care standards
* Ensuring full regulatory compliance and maintaining the home's Good CQC rating
* Creating a positive, values‑led culture that supports staff engagement and retention
About You
* An experienced Home Manager with a strong background in quality, compliance and mental health services
* A proven leader who balances operational performance with compassionate, recovery‑focused care
* Confident, visible leadership style with a genuine passion for supporting people with complex needs
* Nurse qualified with an active NMC PIN desirable, though experienced non‑nurse managers will be considered
