Introduction Are you passionate about bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions? We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Business Application Analyst to join our Group IT team. This role is pivotal in ensuring optimal and sustainable IT service delivery through system analysis, project support, and continuous improvement initiatives. Location: Telford, Shropshire Department: Group IT Contract Type: Permanent Main Responsibilities Analyse business needs and support continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct fit-gap analysis and fault diagnosis at a technical level. Document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows. Support agile methodologies and create project documentation (e.g., WRICEF). Collaborate with project leads and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery. Configure systems, create and execute test plans, and validate solutions. Provide hands-on application support and user training. Create knowledge articles and How-To guides. Act as a solution architect and/or application owner, managing the full lifecycle of applications. Key Requirements Education: Bachelors degree. Languages: English (required); German (beneficial). Experience: 3 years in business/system analysis, IT systems design, and project management. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in M365, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project. Skilled in ITIL, data analysis tools, and business process modelling. S oft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Creative problem-solving and customer service orientation. Ability to build strong partnerships across teams. Other Requirements: Full driving license. Willingness to travel and provide support outside normal business hours if required.
