As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) you will not only be supporting the classroom teacher, but you will also have increased responsibilities which may include; helping to plan and deliver learning activities, mentoring, covering classes and delivering interventions. This role is at a Special Educational Needs School with small classes to support young people with SEMH, ASD and high levels of anxiety.

You must hold a Level 4 HLTA qualification or equivalent. This is an excellent stepping stone for a career into teaching. You will receive an induction into the school and receive ongoing professional development and support.
This is a full time position, term time only working Monday to Friday.
