Our client specialises in shipbuilding, vessel repair, and marine engineering across various markets with locations across the UK. The Fabrication Foreman will be responsible for overseeing welding/fabrication activities, managing a team of skilled tradespeople, ensuring quality control, and coordinating with project managers. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bristol. THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT * Proven experience in fabrication and metalwork * SVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification * Previous supervisory or leadership experience (or strong potential to lead) * Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings * Knowledge of health & safety regulations and best practices * Strong communication and organizational skills * Welding or fabrication certifications (preferred) * Experience within the marine or shipbuilding industry (advantageous) * A positive, team-focused, can-do attitude JOB DESCRIPTION * Leading and supervising a team of skilled fabricators and tradespeople * Managing daily fabrication activities to meet production targets * Ensuring all work meets quality standards and technical specifications * Reading and interpreting technical drawings * Maintaining a safe working environment in line with health & safety regulations * Coordinating with project managers to ensure smooth workflow and delivery * Supporting and mentoring team members on-site REMUNERATION PACKAGE ON OFFER Competitive salary plus benefits package
