We are looking for a highly motivated, collaborative and process orientated Program Manager to join the Media Operations team within EG Media at Expedia Group (EG).
We lead delivery of high impact x-functional marketing programs that maximize EG marketing / media effectiveness.
We are looking for a finance focused Program Manager to join our team, to work on planning, optimizing and managing our finance and budgeting process across teams to ensure our media investments are as effective as possible.
You will be responsible for managing budget planning and submissions, recommendations & facilitation of ad hoc budget adjustments, owning & maintaining process documentation and records, maintaining our relationships with procurement, marketing optimisation and finance.
Along the way, you will work closely with teams supporting a diverse portfolio of media investments for Expedia Groups global brands.
What you’ll do:
* Develop, own and maintain EG Media financial processes including budgets, accruals, reconciliations and planning
* Identify opportunities to improve, streamline and automate finance processes
* Develop strong relationships with cross functional teams to bridge gaps between Finance, Procurement, Marketing Optimization and Media, owning partner communication, engagement & alignment
* Facilitate ad-hoc budget changes across multiple stakeholders
* Manage ongoing procurement processes and contract renewal deadlines
* Identify risks and opportunities, and quantify their potential impact, on an ongoing basis
* Play an integral role in supporting decision-making on where and how we spend money across all offline and digital media platforms.
* Drive deeper insight into the performance of the business by exploring the data in new ways, and collaborating with subject matter experts in Marketing, Analytics, and elsewhere in Finance to operationalize those insights into tangible improvements in how the business runs its investments
* Strive for optimum organizational efficiency by applying systems thinking, across boundaries and making recommendations about processes.
* Take a whole systems approach to analyze issues and implement holistic solutions by ensuring that linkages between structure, people, process and technology are made
* Assist with delivering additional Media Operations projects as needed
Who you are:
* Strong business insight, analytical and organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail
* Demonstrates a critical understanding of business processes and challenges to recommend and develop solutions to meet unique business needs and achieve objectives
* Experience with database automation, SQL & Quoble preferred
* Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to understand and communicate complex challenges, succinctly translating them into workable options and solutions
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to influence key decision makers and build strong long-term relationships
* Ability to navigate a complex matrix environment, working across multiple business units and global teams
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Analytics, Finance or quantitatively related field or equivalent related professional experience

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $137,500 to $192,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
