Overview
Buckland Manor is one of the most elegant country house hotels in the Cotswolds. It is part of the AA Hotel Group of the Year 2017-18 and Relais & Châteaux member since 1995, offering guests a traditional yet friendly English country house hotel experience. The hotel can offer on-site staff accommodation to help new team members settle into life at the hotel and local area.
Salary
Salary: £38,000 to £40,000 per annum, plus service charge
Service charge can be in the region of £305 a month (around £3,600 per year) for a full-time employee.
Role
As a Sous Chef, you will work alongside the Head Chef to run a busy kitchen and create exciting and delicious dishes for our 3 AA rosette restaurant.
This role suits someone who has worked in a similar environment previously.
Responsibilities
* Preparation of fresh food
* Leadership of a section
* Using your advanced knife skills
* Having an advanced knowledge of allergens
* Partaking in the cleaning rota
* Labelling of food on your section
* Completing daily kitchen audits
* Writing allergen matrix
* Ordering stock on Procure Wizard
* Management of kitchen team
* Running of service
* Kitchen staff rotas
