Job Description
* Providing expert HR advice to managers and staff
* Dealing with a variation of ER cases
* Manage an employee relations caseload; including absence, performance, grievances, conduct and capability varying in complexity.
* supporting with Restructures and Redundancies
* Coaching and upskilling
* Assisting with the creation and implementation of HR policies and procedures
* Supporting the recruitment process from start to finish
* Managing employee relations and resolving HR issues
* Conducting regular HR audits and ensuring compliance with legislation
* Participating in HR projects and initiatives
* Promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture
* Contributing to the ongoing development of the HR department
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Advisor should have:
* CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent
* Previous Public Sector experience would be desirable
* Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices and legislation
* Experience in providing HR advice and support to managers and staff
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
* Proficiency in using HR software and systems
