My client is a leading manufacturer of custom-made steel door solutions in the Newcastle under Lyme area. They are looking for a 3D CAD Engineer to join them ASAP on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying 3D models using SolidWorks software and creating order-specific part files from models using DriveWorks software.

You will be responsible for:
* Generating customer order parts using 3D Solidworks
* Operation of DriveWorks
* Use tooling software to program Punch Machines
* Implementing changes in 3D models to aid production
* Liaising with various departments
* Communicating with the sales department, external suppliers and customers
* Ordering of any job specific internal parts that may be required
You will have:
* Solidworks experience
* DriveWorks experience (desirable)
* Door manufacturing (desirable)
* A good understanding of sheet metal fabrication machinery and production (desirable)
