Job Overview
The Deputy Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the overall management of the care facility, ensuring high standards of care and service are maintained for all children. This position involves working closely with the management team to oversee daily operations, bringing about positive outcome for the child, and lead a dedicated team of staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, including experience in ofsted, and possess excellent leadership skills and have minimum qualification of level 3 diploma in residentail care .
Duties
* Assist in the management of the care home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality standards.
* Supervise and support staff in delivering exceptional care to the children and promote positive out comes .
* Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to meet the needs of each child.
* Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
* Foster a positive environment that encourages children engagement and well-being.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive warp around support.
* work to a product rota to over see training annual ,supervisions and the needs of each child
* Conduct regular training sessions for staff to enhance their skills in senior care and management practices.
* Handle any incidents or complaints promptly and effectively, maintaining a high level of resident satisfaction.
Skills
* Proven experience in residential care settings is essential.
* Strong background and knowledge of regulations and ofsted
* Excellent management skills with prior supervising experience in a residential care environment.
* Ability to develop effective care plans that cater to individual children's needs.
* Strong leadership qualities that inspire and motivate staff to deliver quality care.
* Proficient in medication administration protocols and best practices.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with residents, families, and staff.
