Client Services (Financial Planning/Wealth Management)
Location: City of London/Hybrid (2 days WFH)
Salary: To £33,000 to £40,000 (depending on level of experience and excellent/ Comprehensive benefits package
Our client, an expanding, chartered Wealth Manager is looking to add to their busy client services team to ensure that every client receives a thoughtful, tailored, and professional service. These roles can offer progression into Paraplanning and onwards in due course therefore they welcome applications from ambitious candidates looking to secure a long term future in the firm.
The Role
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of advice and support services to valued clients.
The environment is busy and fast-paced, so you’ll need to be adaptable, detail-oriented, and a natural communicator who thrives in a team setting.
Duties will include (but not be limited to):
Carrying out core client servicing tasks, accurately and in line with expected service levels, including but not limited to:
provision of portfolio reports
pre-meeting documentation
reviewing and correcting client cash accounts
submitting and implementing new business as agreed
Updating and maintaining accurate client records
Managing own workflow and tasks to meet company requirements
Becoming a subject matter expert in certain processes, providing training and information across the business as well as ensuring the processes remain fit for purpose
Escalating promptly any issues to the Team Leader which may impact the ability to deliver the services
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business to ensure high quality client services are provided
Helping identify potential service changes to improvement the client experience or internal efficiency
Business Support – Undertake other activities of a similar nature as required from time to time to support the firm in meeting its business objectives.
About you:
A minimum of 6 months experience in Wealth Management/Financial planning experience in a Financial Planning support or administration role, applications welcomed from more experienced candidates
Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
Experience using Intelligent Office (IO) software (preferred).
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong numeracy and communication skills.
Ability to work to tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
