My client are a leading Fire Protection Business and are looking to recruit a Fire Alarm Sales Engineer servicing, maintaining and replacing fire alarms. They are looking for someone to cover the Yorkshire and surrounding areas
Role - Fire Alarm Sales Engineer
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: 28,000.00 per year plus bonus
Monday to Friday with OOH and weekend cover
A proven sales candidate who is interested in a more technical role with the opportunity to learn and develop
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
* Perform service and maintenance on Fire Alarm and Emergency Lights
* Conduct inspections and tests to ensure systems are functioning properly and in compliance with regulations
* Troubleshoot and repair any issues with fire protection equipment
* Install new fire protection systems as needed
* Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
* To be able to report system defects/problems accurately
* To be able to work unsupervised for periods of time
* Complete paperwork to a professional standard
* Organise own scheduling and replenishment van stock
* Selling new products and replacing any faulty items during the service
Experience & Qualifications
* Previous experience within sales
* Technical aptitude
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* This position requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work in various environments. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety.
