Job Description:
The Role: Checking quality requirements for all products manufactured by Deli Lites, ensuring that products are manufactured in line with Product Specifications, Food Safety, Food Legality, and Factory Hygiene Standards. Reporting any NCRs and GMP issues.
As Night Shift Quality Controller, you will uphold the quality, legality, and authenticity of all our values at DELI LITES and give customers the opportunity to achieve their extraordinary results through our passion for our people and food. Your Duties:
* Safeguard your own safety and the safety of others while performing your duties.
* Support the Deli Lites Quality Team.
* Ensure compliance with company procedures for Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene.
* Approve in-process production by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; communicate required adjustments to your Quality Supervisor and/or Production Supervisor.
* Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; return products for re-work; confirm re-work.
* Complete paperwork and records of checks, including weight checks, temperature checks, label checks, metal detection, and checkweigher checks where required.
* Communicate Internal and Supplier Non-Conformances through Daily Quality Reports.
* Maintain measurement equipment by following operating instructions and highlighting repair needs.
* Support the production team to prevent the use of sub-standard ingredients and ensure only safe, quality products leave the site.
* Assist NPD and Production teams during trials.
* Report issues that may compromise food safety, legality, or quality to the Quality Manager/Supervisor.
* Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by your Quality Supervisor, Quality Manager, or Technical Manager.

* IT literacy.
* Experience in a Quality Department within the food industry.
