Who you'll be working with: The Operations Support Engineering team partners with business leaders and teams to provide an outstanding technical and work environment for all employees. The team undertakes various jobs across desktop, AV, and facilities support.
Responsibilities include:
1. Leading projects to enhance Liberty IT's office environments, desktop and device hardware/software, and digital communications for meetings (in-person, hybrid, virtual).
2. Facilitating project delivery, ensuring team members own, score, and deliver tasks or stories.
3. Conducting agile ceremonies like stand-ups, updating progress regularly.
4. Contributing to energy efficiency initiatives to meet Liberty IT's targets.
5. Mentoring junior team members.
6. Partnering with employees and team members to maximize business value.
7. Promoting continuous improvement and best practices for employee safety and security.
8. Reviewing and contributing to engineering and operations standards.
9. Growing knowledge of IT systems, networks, digital communications, hardware, and software.
10. Assessing new solutions using data-driven approaches and leading their adoption.
11. Sharing knowledge through internal talks, blogging, and external events.
Technology Support Responsibilities:
* Providing maintenance and optimization of software/hardware during office hours.
* Managing the setup process for new hires, including device and desk setup.
* Responding to and resolving support requests and tickets.
* Leading the development of solutions for recurring issues.
* Documenting solutions for team sharing.
Digital Communications and AV Engineering:
* Managing onsite, hybrid, and remote events with AV and communication tools (Zoom, MS Teams).
* Responding to support requests and resolving issues.
* Maintaining AV and communication tools, updating licenses.
Office Environment Support:
* Maintaining office environment and space management.
* Supporting events and room setups, managing capacity, and intra-office moves.
* Implementing energy efficiency initiatives.
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum five years' experience supporting large-scale office environments, including hardware, software, AV, and physical space.
* Experience in delivering software, hardware, and office projects.
* Knowledge of agile practices.
* Experience in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Partnering with end-users for solutions.
* Current industry-recognized certifications.
Desired Criteria:
* Participation in knowledge sharing activities.
* Experience building customer-centric solutions balancing technical, user, and business needs.
