Overview
This is an exciting time to join our Independence at Home Team. We are ambitious to grow our Reablement service to ensure more people have the opportunity to regain and maintain their independence. As a reablement worker, you will be helping individuals to do things for themselves by offering support that ensures their physical, social and emotional needs are met. This will include delivering personal care. Reablement Workers provide support to individuals within their own homes. There is therefore a requirement for applicants to have the ability to travel within the geographical work area as required. A vehicle can be provided.
Disability Confident
A Disability Confident employer will generally offer an interview to any applicant that declares they have a disability and meets the minimum criteria for the job as defined by the employer. It is important to note that in certain recruitment situations such as high-volume, seasonal and high-peak times, the employer may wish to limit the overall numbers of interviews offered to both disabled people and non-disabled people.
