They are looking for an experienced Line Technician
in a fast-paced FMCG environment, you will play a critical role in maintaining high standards of production efficiency, quality, and safety. This position requires strong technical expertise combined with key competencies such as attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. You will work collaboratively within a team, demonstrating effective communication, adaptability under pressure, and a commitment to delivering consistent results in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with LT Foods UK’s health & safety, food safety, and quality assurance standards.
* Report any hazards, incidents, or near misses promptly to the Production Manager or Shift Supervisor.
* Support the implementation of safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
* Participate in health and safety briefings and training sessions as required.

Requirements
* Minimum 2 years within FMCG or high-speed manufacturing.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
Working Hours
41.25 hours per week, on a two-weekly rotating shift cycle as follows:
Shift Week 1
06:00–14:15 14:00–22:15
Week 2 14:00–22:15 06:00–14:15
Weekend coverage may be required depending on business needs and will be distributed fairly across teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor production line equipment to maintain optimal performance.
* Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and minor repairs on machinery.
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation issues promptly.
* Conduct line changeovers and setups according to production schedules.
* Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
* Record and report equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance activities.
* Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement process improvements.
* Support root cause analysis for recurring technical issues.
