Role - PDI Technician / Prep Tech
Salary - £20,600 starting salary, rising to £36,000 OTE (Dependent on experience/qualifications/accreditations)
Location – Trafford, Manchester
Richard Abson Group are looking to find an experienced PDI or Prep Technician in the Manchester area.
The business is a well-established and reputable main dealer, working with prestige brands. Looking to employ a PDI Technician / Prep Tech with enthusiasm, experience with vehicle maintenance and strong communication skills. You will have opportunities to progress your career, attend additional training courses and gain/build upon your current skills.
Your main duties and responsibilities as PDI Technician / Prep Tech will include:
1. Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, pre-delivery checks and general maintenance/repairs
2. Inspect vehicles according to the manufacturers and business requirements
3. Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness
4. Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for the records
5. Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
6. Assist other Technician's when required
Requirements: Level 3 NVQ or IMI in Vehicle Repair / Maintenance.
Working hours and salary: The dealership is offering a competitive salary, based on experience, qualifications and accreditations. Working Monday to Friday As well as Saturday Mornings from (rota'ed).
