Join a community committed to driving forward the future of energy.JOB DESCRIPTIONThis hybrid role supports candidates within commuting distance of Bridgwater, with relocation assistance available where appropriate.You will support Mechanical and Piping construction delivery across a major nuclear new build programme.You will coordinate engineering, construction, and installation activities ensuring quality and nuclear compliance.You will provide technical leadership supporting safe execution of complex piping construction missions.Develop detailed execution plans aligned with project delivery milestonesManage construction workpacks supporting safe mechanical piping installation activities️Coordinate piping installation sequencing across multidisciplinary construction delivery teams️Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation supporting site readinessParticipate in constructability reviews and 3D model assessment activitiesRespond to technical queries, non-conformances, and engineering change requestsLiaise with engineering, procurement, and quality teams resolving installation challengesMaintain accurate engineering records supporting compliance and construction traceability️Promote nuclear safety, environmental compliance, and strong onsite HSE cultureChallenge engineering decisions ensuring alignment with project delivery strategyMY PROFILEDegree qualification within Mechanical Engineering or Piping Engineering disciplinesEligible to achieve BPSS Security Clearance requirements successfullyExperience using Aveva E3D, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office applicationsValid CCNSG Safety Passport supporting major construction site activitiesExperience delivering work within highly regulated nuclear construction environmentsStrong understanding of piping installation methodologies and engineering processesExperience producing construction workpacks and installation documentation packagesStrong problem-solving, organisational, and multidisciplinary communication capabilitiesKnowledge of HSE and quality standards across major construction projectsFluent English communication skills supporting collaborative project delivery environmentsWhy Apply?Join Assystem and become a key player in delivering critical nuclear projects that shape the future of energy.
