We're seeking an ambitious Senior PR Account Executive / Junior Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This role represents an excellent progression opportunity for an experienced Senior PR Account Executive ready to take on greater responsibility and client management duties, or an ideal step for a Junior Account Manager looking to develop their skills within a respected agency.
You'll be someone who combines strong PR fundamentals with the emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills that are hallmarks of LLPR's work. The successful candidate will demonstrate both strategic thinking and hands-on execution capabilities, supporting senior team members while bringing the authority and skills to take effective ownership of client relationships and campaign delivery.
After a qualifying period, you will be able to take advantage of hybrid working, based in our beachside offices in Poole for 50% of your time with core office days as Tuesday and Wednesday.
Client Account Management
· Manage day-to-day relationships with designated client accounts
· Act as primary point of contact for smaller accounts or support on larger accounts
· Take an active role in account planning and strategic development
Lead on smaller PR campaigns and support larger strategic programmes
· Develop creative campaign concepts and tactical implementation plans
· Write compelling press releases, features, case studies, and other PR materials
· Create written and visual content for digital channels including social media and websites
· Media Relations & Communications
· Manage press office functions and respond to media enquiries
· Monitor media coverage and provide analysis and insights
· Support issues management and crisis communications activities when required
Manage event planning and execution
· Support corporate communications and internal communications activities
Support client retention and account growth activities
· Identify opportunities for campaign expansion and additional services
· Represent the agency at networking events and industry functions
Support training and development of account assistants
· Degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field
· Minimum 2-3 years' experience in public relations, ideally agency side
· Proven track record of securing quality media coverage
· Experience managing client relationships and account responsibilities
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a relentless focus on accuracy and quality
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PR software/databases
· Experience with social media management and content creation
· Understanding of digital marketing principles and SEO
· Knowledge of media monitoring and evaluation tools
· Experience with event planning and coordination
Personal Qualities:
· Professional demeanour with emotional intelligence
· Crisis communications or issues management experience
· Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
· Experience with content management systems and marketing automation tools
