Personal Assistant to Managing Director (Maternity Cover)
Hours: 28 per week across 4 days
Start Date: End of Oct
The A World UK CIC is seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support our Managing Director and wider team during maternity cover. This is a varied role combining administration, HR support, and basic accounts management.
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive PA and administrative support to the Managing Director.
* Manage diaries, appointments, and correspondence.
* Handle confidential information with discretion.
* Liaise effectively with internal teams, external partners, HMRC, and suppliers.
* Oversee utilities management across our store locations.
* Support property management such as utilties and organising documents
* Process and reconcile receipts, invoices, bank transactions, and expenses. (Assist with basic accounts management.)
* Contribute to project work and carry out general admin duties.
* Take initiative with ad-hoc tasks to support business needs.
About You
* Proven experience in office administration is essential.
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in IT (Microsoft Office; experience with finance software a plus).
* Professional, reliable, and proactive approach.
* Flexible, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
* Comfortable working independently when required.
