Weekdays: £12.21 per hour
Weekends: £12.74 per hourContract Type: Part-time (24 hours per week)
Shift Pattern: Mixed shifts between 08:00-20:00 and 20:00-08:00, including weekends and some Bank Holidays on a rota basis.
About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide advice, assistance, and support to young people aged 16-24 years old. You will attend to their practical, physical, and emotional needs, act as a positive role model, and work closely with them to help address challenges and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality support that meets the physical, emotional, social, and cultural needs of young people.
Provide a caring and nurturing environment where young people feel safe and supported.
Build positive relationships and offer unconditional positive regard.
Support independent living skills (budgeting, cooking, cleaning, job seeking).
Act as a key worker or co-worker, ensuring support plans are up to date.
Provide emotional support during times of stress and difficulty.
Encourage community engagement and extracurricular activities.
Maintain accurate records and reports.
Work collaboratively as part of a team and attend regular meetings.
Uphold confidentiality and safeguarding protocols.Requirements
Essential:
Must be a driver with access to a vehicle.
Physical fitness.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team under pressure.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
