Working as part of dynamic UK leadership team, you will be the senior-most finance professional in the country, collaborating closely with the UK Managing Director and providing key support to the wider European finance function. You will: * Be responsible for the full spectrum of financial operations for the UK division, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for both sites and group requirements * Partner with operational site leaders and senior management to drive financial performance and achieve strategic objectives * Prepare annual budgets, deliver quarterly updates, and support ongoing business planning with insightful analysis and recommendations * Oversee compliance requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley controls and the group’s robust governance framework * Manage and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration * Provide expert guidance on capital expenditure, fixed asset management, and working capital optimisation * Support the development and deployment of financial systems (SAP), and lead on digital transformation initiatives to enhance reporting and decision-making * Deliver clear, in-depth analysis to inform operational and strategic capex decisions across the business * Manage relationships and negotiate commercial terms with external advisors, including auditors, property managers, and insurance partners * Travel regularly to UK operational sites, building close relationships with colleagues and ensuring a hands-on, visible finance leadership presence What you’ll need to succeed: * A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA), with at least five years’ post-qualification experience – ideally in a service-led, manufacturing or industrial environment * Demonstrable experience in leading finance teams and supporting senior management in a fast-paced, operationally focused business * A track record of driving process improvements, embedding best practice controls, and ensuring compliance within complex organisations * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, advise, and support colleagues at all levels * Advanced financial systems and IT skills, with experience of SAP and group reporting packages highly desirable * Proactive, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure * Willingness and flexibility to travel within the UK and occasionally (quarterly|) within Europe * A collaborative, team-oriented approach with excellent organisational skills If you are an ambitious, commercially astute finance leader ready to play a pivotal role in a business with a global reach and a strong sustainability ethos, we would love to hear from you.
