• Partner with Product Engineering to align on development roadmaps and exchange architectural insights, working together to design and build software that meets both current and future needs.
• Guide and empower development teams to operate autonomously while ensuring adherence to architectural standards and sound technical decisions.
• Serve as a mentor within the engineering community, sharing knowledge and leading by example in tackling complex technology challenges.
• Build relationships with technology partners to enhance our technical ecosystem and seek cost-effective solutions.
• Stay ahead of the curve by researching, prototyping, and advocating for the adoption of emerging technologies and architectural patterns.

• Is pragmatic in approach, recognising technology as a tool to deliver business outcomes.
• Wants to stay involved with hands-on development as a complement to design skills.
• Has proven experience with high traffic volume, web and mobile applications.
• Can share architectural ideas confidently and clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.
• Encourages contributions from everyone and actively seeks to be inclusive in design decisions.
• Has a genuine passion for delivering high quality, highly performant code.
We are looking for the following technology background:
