Job Description
* Provide expert tax advisory services to corporate and private client/personal tax clients.
* Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering growth and development within the team.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on tax-related matters.
* Identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic solutions to clients.
* Review and refine internal tax processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
* Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensure the team is fully informed.
* Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the Tax department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Mixed Tax Associate Director should have:
* Experience working a middle-market-focused Accountancy Practice (UK-based).
* Professional tax qualifications such as CTA or ATT.
* 6+ years post-qualification experience
* Extensive knowledge of both corporate and personal tax compliance and advisory work.
* Previous experience in managing a team within a tax environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
* An analytical mindset with the ability to identify and implement solutions effectively.
* A proactive approach to keeping up to date with tax legislation and industry trends.
