Commercial Gas & Plant Engineer
Location: London & South East
Salary: Up to £49,000 pa + bonus + company vehicle + excellent benefits

Vector Recruitment Solutions are working with a fast-growing business within the Heat Networks sector, who are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Gas & Plant Engineer to support the maintenance and operation of commercial energy centres and district heating systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Gas Engineer or Plant Room Engineer looking for a varied role involving PPMs, reactive repairs, fault finding and project work across large-scale commercial plant rooms.
The Role
* Planned and reactive maintenance on commercial plant equipment
* Fault finding and repair work on pumps, valves, heat exchangers, pressurisation units and pipework
* Attending reactive call-outs to restore heating and resolve plant failures
* Supporting plant improvement and remediation projects
* Completing maintenance reports and records
* Participating in an on‑call rota (1 week in 4)
Requirements
* Experience working within commercial plant rooms or mechanical plant environments
* Strong knowledge of commercial boilers and mechanical plant systems
* Experience working on pumps, valves and associated equipment
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Gas, Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering
* Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics
* Full UK driving licence
Experience within district heating or heat networks would be advantageous but is not essential.
