Behaviour Mentor Enfield January 2026 Start Are you a Behaviour Mentor looking to make a real difference during a crucial stage of secondary education? This Behaviour Mentor role in Enfield focuses on supporting KS4 pupils and offers an excellent opportunity to gain long-term school-based experience from January 2026. This Enfield secondary school is rated Good with Outstanding elements and is particularly recognised for its strong behaviour culture and pastoral care at KS4. The school delivers a structured and ambitious curriculum that prepares pupils for GCSE success, alongside clear expectations around conduct and attendance. There is a well-developed SEN and inclusion provision supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD and SEMH needs. Staff work closely across departments, and Behaviour Mentors play a valued role in supporting pupil engagement, wellbeing and progression. Behaviour Mentor What the School Offers A comprehensive induction and ongoing CPD linked to behaviour and pastoral support Consistent, school-wide behaviour systems that are well embedded Strong mentoring and guidance for Behaviour Mentors A collaborative pastoral, SEN and teaching team Opportunities for extended contracts or progression into teacher training Behaviour Mentor What the Role Involves Supporting KS4 pupils as a Behaviour Mentor through 1:1 and small-group interventions Promoting positive behaviour, engagement and attendance Working with pupils with SEMH needs within mainstream settings Supporting classroom learning and behaviour management when required Liaising with pastoral staff, SEN teams and teachers to support progress Behaviour Mentor What the School is Looking For The school is seeking a Behaviour Mentor with a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Previous child-centred experience, particularly within behaviour, mentoring or youth settings, is highly valued. The ideal Behaviour Mentor will be resilient, calm and empathetic, with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in supporting adolescents at KS4. Please note, applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
