We’re looking for a curious, commercially minded Talent Architect to help shape how our organisation thinks about roles, skills, career pathways and workforce development.
This is a newly created role and a fantastic opportunity to join a business investing in skills‑based talent management and future workforce capability.
You’ll work across the organisation to design and evolve career architecture frameworks, helping create clearer career pathways, stronger internal mobility and more future focused capability planning particularly as emerging areas such as AI continue to reshape the world of work.
This role would suit someone who enjoys solving complex people challenges, managing multiple projects and influencing stakeholders across a changing organisation.
What You Will Do
* Designing and evolving career architecture frameworks including job families, role definitions, grades and career pathways
* Mapping skills and capabilities across the organisation to support workforce planning and development
* Supporting the organisation’s move toward a skills‑based talent approach
* Developing and maintaining success profiles linked to skills and capability requirements
* Identifying opportunities for cross‑skilling, reskilling and internal mobility
* Working with stakeholders across HR, Learning, Talent and the wider business to evolve role frameworks as business needs change
* Using workforce and skills data to identify trends, gaps and progression opportunities
* Supporting organisational change initiatives and helping embed consistent talent infrastructure across the business
* Incorporating emerging capability areas, including AI‑related skills, into existing role and career frameworks
What You Will Have
We’re open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds including Organisation Development, HR projects, consulting or workforce transformation.
You may already have experience in career architecture or job framework design, or you may have developed adjacent experience through broader talent or organisational projects.
What’s most important is your ability to think critically, influence stakeholders and manage complex projects with confidence. We’d love to hear from people with experience in:
* Talent, organisational development or HR project environments
* Career pathways, capability frameworks or role design projects
* Managing multiple concurrent projects independently
* Working in complex or matrix organisations
* Stakeholder management and influencing without formal authority
* Skills based talent or workforce initiatives
* Consulting, professional services or enterprise environments
