The successful candidate will manage their own portfolio, prepare statutory accounts and tax returns, and support clients with business advisory matters. Key Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely delivery of accounts and tax compliance work
* Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
* Completing corporate and personal tax returns
* Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and providing mentorship
* Supporting clients with bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts
* Liaising directly with clients to provide proactive advice and maintain strong relationships
Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified
* At least three years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
* Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations
* Experience preparing accounts under UK GAAP
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively within a team
