Job Description Reporting to an Associate Research Director or a Research Director, a Sensory Research Manager is the primary contact for client communication before, during, and after projects and owns and delivers full research projects.
Responsibilities
* Client Management: Serve as a Key Account Manager for one or a few clients; serve as direct contact for communication before, during, and after project delivery.
* Project Management: Autonomous management, implementation, and coordination of complex research projects; take clients’ briefs and write study proposals; propose appropriate methodologies and research approaches; prepare estimates for ad hoc studies; contribute to negotiating contracts and specifications; ensure projects meet objectives, are delivered on time and within budget; ensure work meets agreed quality standards.
* Reporting & Presentation: Write reports with storytelling; present results with relevant recommendations; moderate expert panel sessions for training and evaluation; responsible for panel performance, including analysis, recommendations, and action plan execution.
* Strategy: Ensure that ongoing activities and projects adhere to the company’s strategic guidelines.
* Revenue: Share feedback with managers on client needs and potential revenue risks.
* People: Possibility to manage a Technician or Panel Leader(s) if required; close collaboration with the Data Solutions Hub; work closely with other members of our sensory and research teams and the field team.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of higher education with knowledge in market research and/or sensory research.
* Some experience in market research or sensory research.
* Knowledge of food and/or cosmetic products, quantitative and qualitative consumer research methodologies, sensory methodologies, and statistics.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
* Rigorous, responsive and proactive mindset.
* Strong organisational and planning skills to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
