Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging history lessons to students, focusing on key concepts, events, and themes.
* Foster a positive learning environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for history.
* Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and teaching materials.
* Maintain accurate records of students' achievements, attendance, and behaviour.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding students' progress and any concerns or improvements needed.
* Engage in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching techniques and educational developments.
Requirements
* A bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
* Proven experience as a History Teacher, preferably in primary or secondary education.
* Excellent knowledge of history curriculum and instructional techniques.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
