Are you a hands-on finance professional with Xero expertise and a flair for process improvement? Were hiring a Project Accountant to join a growing SME, specialisingin construction and materials handling, on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in refining financial systems, streamlining reporting, and embedding best practices across the business. What Youll Be Doing: Reviewing and improving the Chart of Accounts and stock processes. Streamlining invoice, journal, and PO procedures. Integrating financial spreadsheets and tools into Xero. Setting up a Fixed Asset Register and depreciation policy. Enhancing reporting, forecasting, and budget capabilities. Overseeing integration between Xero, Insphire, and Shopify. To be successful you will have: Strong experience with Xero. A process-driven mindset and ability to train others. Ideally, experience in plant hire or construction finance.
