The Opportunity & School Profile This prestigious independent school, located on an extensive campus in Guildford, seeks a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee its complex estate. The school is known for its high academic standards and requires its facilities to be maintained to an exceptional level to support both teaching and co-curricular life. Core Responsibilities & Facilities Scope Strategic Management: Leading the in-house premises team, managing all contractors, and overseeing cyclical maintenance programmes for the entire site. Compliance & Safety: Full responsibility for H&S compliance, fire safety, security, and statutory inspections across the large, multi-building campus. Project Oversight: Managing capital improvement projects, including refurbishments and new facility development. Compensation & Benefits Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (52 weeks per year). Salary Range: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
