Whether your passion lies within science, engineering or business, Nuclear Graduates will ensure that over two years you will gain an invaluable insight into the breadth of the UK's nuclear sector, giving you the opportunity to contribute to innovative designs, systems, products, and services. As a Nuclear Graduate sponsored by ONR, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the UK's nuclear industry. ONR's mission is to protect society by securing safe nuclear operations.

NLR inspectors undertake work across all stages of the nuclear lifecycle (including new build and operations). They may undertake strategic work with national and international bodies, such as supporting government to meet obligations in international conventions.

We are looking for individuals who display strong interpersonal skills alongside technical competencies. The role requires building and maintaining effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including licensees, government bodies, and international partners. The ability to influence, make sound judgements, communicate effectively, work in a team, and demonstrate self-awareness of limits is important.
