Security & IT Lead
Location: Holywood, Co. Down (Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days remote)
Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role
The Security & IT Lead will take ownership of IT operations and information security across the business. Reporting to the Head of Technology, the successful candidate will:
* Build and implement an IT & Security roadmap aligned to business and compliance goals.
* Oversee Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and related SaaS environments.
* Manage device setup, patching, endpoint protection, and user access controls.
* Maintain compliance with frameworks such as Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001.
* Investigate incidents, assess risks, and drive a culture of security-first thinking.
* Develop and implement IT and information security policies and procedures.
This is a hands‑on role where you'll lead by example, blending operational delivery with long‑term strategic improvement.
The Person
The ideal candidate will bring:
* Proven experience managing Microsoft 365 and modern SaaS platforms.
* Strong understanding of IT and information security best practices.
* Experience handling device management, patching, and endpoint protection.
* Familiarity with Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001 frameworks.
* Excellent documentation and communication skills.
* A proactive, ownership‑driven mindset.
Desirable: Experience with tools such as Intune or JAMF, or relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, Microsoft 365 Administration).
