Are you ready to lead strategic tax initiatives in a dynamic and collaborative environment? We’re looking for a Senior Tax Manager, Real Estate to join our Group Tax team on an 18 month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. 1. Leading tax advisory and compliance support across our Private Markets property portfolio
2. Partnering with Real Estate teams to provide practical tax guidance on transactions and operations
3. Overseeing tax risk management from fund structuring to investment exit
4. Managing and mentoring a team of Property Tax Managers to deliver high-quality outcomes
5. Aligning tax approaches across Group Tax and supporting new product launches
6. Enhancing tax governance frameworks and driving process improvements
7. Liaising with external advisors and industry bodies to represent our property tax interests
8. Supporting cross-divisional tax coordination and regulatory reporting
QualificationsWho we’re looking for:
9. Professionally qualified in Accounting (e.g. ACA, ACCA) and/or Tax (e.g. CTA)
10. Significant post-qualification experience in real estate tax within a large corporate or practice
11. Strong understanding of UK and European property funds and tax structures
12. Proven ability to explain complex tax issues clearly to non-specialists
13. Experience managing tax aspects of property transactions and fund operations
14. Skilled in team leadership, coaching, and workload prioritisation
15. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
16. Adaptable, analytical, and committed to continuous improvement
