Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in a bustling restaurant setting. The Line Cook will be responsible for assisting in food preparation and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly during service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Assist with meal preparation including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen work environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food production
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
