HGV Class 2 Driver
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in High Wycombe.

Shifts:
Monday to Friday 05:30 am starts
Rates of pay:
Basic: £15.38 per hour
Temp to perm opportunity with a salary of £32.000 + bonus of 3.000 once permanent

Day-to-day duties:
As a HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
Carrying out multidrop deliveries ( handball required)
Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly
Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required
Essential skills:
To be successful as a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
A valid UK Category C licence
A minimum of 12 months' experience driving Category C vehicles
No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes
A valid UK CPC card and Digi card
Good spoken and written English
Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills
A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations
Effective communication skills
Over 25 years of age due to client's insurance purposes
Desirable experience:
Previous commercial driving experience
Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Training:
Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
